Kurukullā, also revered as Guhyakālī in esoteric Buddhism, manifests as a meditational deity governing sovereign authority and magnetizing activities. She is recognized as the crimson emanation of the twenty-one Tārās and venerated as the Tibetan Buddhist goddess of power.
Iconographically depicted with four arms and three penetrating eyes, her vermilion-hued form radiates intense majesty. Flaming golden hair ascends vertically from her crown, while her primary hands wield a lotus-mounted hook and axe. The secondary arms draw a bow and arrow in dynamic tension, poised for release. Adorned with ritual accoutrements – a tiger skin skirt girding her waist, a garland of human skulls encircling her neck, and a diadem of cranial relics – she stands resplendent in celestial jewels. Her lotus-postured feet subjugate demonic forces beneath them, the entire divine form enveloped in wisdom flames, embodying supreme spiritual sovereignty.
